Wan-Yi is a former professional tennis player who competed on the WTA and ITF Junior circuit, traveling the world in pursuit of her passion for the sport. Her journey led to a full athletic scholarship at Boston College, where she competed and captained the Division I tennis team and graduated with Cum Laude honors in International Studies. For the past decade, she has been dedicated to youth sports development by coaching tennis part-time and helping the next generation access transformative opportunities in U.S. college athletics and academics - just as it has helped shape her own career path. Currently, Wan-Yi is the Senior Director of Marketing and Partnerships at Skechers. With her deep experience in the tennis world and a passion for mentorship, she is committed to supporting Advantage Mozambique’s mission through fundraising, student-athlete mentoring, and brand partnerships.
