Edilson has been honing his tennis at an ITF Regional Training Center in Tunisia for the last 2 years and has recently won ITF J30 tournaments in Mozambique and Botswana, being the first Mozambican to win an ITF junior singles event in over 30 years. He won the Mozambique men’s national championship and has represented the country as a Davis Cup player two times. Edilson has reached a career high ITF Junior ranking of 388 and hopes to study and play tennis at a Division 1 university in the US in 2026.
